Think like a Scientist
|
Key concepts in the Manitoba science curriculum are: Scientific Inquiry and Design Process.
These concept help develop student ability to "think like a scientist". Scientific Inquiry: Students will be invited and encouraged to ask questions and make predictions, plan and carry out investigations, analyze and interpret data, as well as obtain, evaluate and communicate informations. Design Process: Students will identify and define practical problems defining criteria and constraints for solving it, research and choose a solution, plan, construct and test any model or prototype, then evaluate the solution and determine ways to improve their designs.
